Request a Mass Intention
The practice of requesting a Mass to be offered for loved ones, living or deceased, is a beautiful and wonderful part of our Catholic tradition. Masses are offered for many reasons: for the souls in purgatory, in remembrance of someone who is deceased, or in honor of a birthday or anniversary.
If you would like to have a Mass said for someone, please call our parish office at (818) 342-4686 to or request it below.
Prayer Request

I ask that you pray for me to have the strength to let go of people who are bad for me and for the husband God has for me to come into my life soon.
I ask for prayers for Lotte Schaffer who is in intensive care and in a medically induced coma possibly from the coronavirus. I ask for prayers of healing for her and comfort for her daughter Bianca. In Jesus name.
For my high school friend, Carlos Altamirano. Cancer never crushed his spirit but it took his life from us. As he fought I reached out once, but as it got worse I didn't know what to say. To his wife, Darina, and their son -- and his whole family, we will pray for Carlos and wait to join him in the new party he is attending, beyond.

For Carmen's niece & her niece's husband: that his breathing difficulties ease, that he can rest & recuperate back at home with the grace and healing power from the Divine Physician, our Lord, Christ Jesus. For my friend's son who is on the USS Theodore Roosevelt: may the mantle of the Blessed Virgin Mary protect those in danger from the spreading COVID-19 virus. Help them get off and into safer circumstances. Amen.

I pray that they may be protected by God's love and especially I pray for all those who are sick and suffering, especially the ones with the virus. May Papa Jesus comfort them and their family... LI pray for all of my wrong doings that Papa Jesus will forgive me and I pray that I will be a blessing to other people and could make a change in their life for the better even in my own little way... Amen

Lord Jesus Christ, you ask all who are oppressed to come to you. Permit your healing hand to those who are most need of you and your salvation. Touch their souls with your everlasting compassion. Touch their heart with your bravery and infinite love for all. Touch their mind with your wisdom that their mouth may always proclaim your admiration. Teach those to reach out to you in their need, and help them lead others by our special requests. Most loving heart and blood of Jesus bring us health in body and spirit that we may serve you with all our strength. Touch mercifully this life which you have created, now and forever. Amen!

I would like to ask for healing prayers for Zenaida, whose sister who has tested positive for COVID and for her father who has bronchitis. The family is under self isolation for the required 2 weeks. Zenaida is active in the OLG church and as a community may we lift them up in prayer for the Lord, as the Divine Physician, to grant His mercy to her family and heal them and restore their health. Also for my friend Armando who has been sick for 3 weeks but not covid related. He is afraid of contracting it but through the loving spirit of the Father to provide him with the peace to not worry and he be fully healed of his ailment. In Jesus name I pray. AMEN!!
Please pray for anyone struggling with depression and mental health during these days of solitude and of fear.
Praying for the world, our community, but especially for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul members that are called to serve the poor. In this time of utmost need, let us be instruments of light and hope to others. May we not get overwhelmed by the magnitude of the problem. Let us give comfort, resources and assistance to those who need it in this time of uncertainty. May God bless those that we serve and call those able to give to give to the less fortunate. Dear Lord please keep our members and friends in need healthy as we do our mission.
Praying for those in need of comfort during this extraordinary time, for those that are ill, for those recovering and those who are alone. May they all know they are not alone.
“Jesus, we place all of our desires, hopes and trust in you especially in these days. You promise that you will be with us and no torment shall ever prevail. Cover us, our families, our Church, our nation, the whole world with your grace, mercy, and love so that we can weather these storms and bring us safely to your Father’s embrace.”
Pray Psalm 91 daily over your families. I now pray Psalm 91: 9-10 "Because you have the Lord for your refuge and have made the Most High yor stronghold, NO EVIL shall befall you, NO AFFLICTION come near your tent." May this word of God be with us at this time.

God, Let all the families struggling with the uncertainty of being bound together never forget that their family is part of our family. Let all those that are alone at this time be able to reach out to people in their community (digitally) and our parish (digitally). Amen
