Changes to Church services effective 7/15/2020
As you have heard, because of the rise in COVID cases in Los Angeles county we will not have indoor church services.
In light of the new guidelines regarding church services, we have moved our 8 AM daily Masses outside on our Parish Center front lawn (across the parking lot from the church). Bring your own chair or blanket and join us. We do require you to wear your mask and maintain social distancing from other families while on our lawn.
Bring your own chair and join us for Sunday Masses taking place in our School Courtyard. No registration is needed. Saturday Vigil Mass will be at 6 PM. Sunday Masses will be at 7 AM and 8:30 AM in English and 10 AM in Spanish. Please note the new Mass times as we try to avoid the hottest parts of the day during the summer. Masks will be required for everyone over the age of 2 years old and we ask you to maintain at least 6 ft of distance between other families.
Adoration will continue every Friday following the 8 AM Mass until 6 PM in our Parish Center inner courtyard. Enter the courtyard through our Parish Center building following signage to the Blessed Sacrament. Exit will be from the courtyard around the back of the building (follow signage again). Sign up for a Holy Hour here.
Confessions will continue to be drive-in on Fridays from 5-6 PM and Saturdays from 9-10 AM in our parking lot. Enter from White Oak Ave. and proceed forward to the school parking lot to the Confession stations.
Our Parish Office will be closed to the public. You can reach us via email or by calling 818-342-4686.
Thank you for your patience and support in this ever-changing time of pandemic. We want to do everything we can to ensure that we are serving you and providing access to the ministry and Sacraments of the Church while keeping us all as safe as possible.

Father Tom Feltz
We request prayers for Fr. Tom Feltz who is currently being cared for in the hospital. Fr. Tom has been a priest of our Archdiocese for 35 years and a part of Our Lady of Grace community for almost 14 years. For the past two and half weeks Fr. Tom has been under the care of the nurses of the Archdiocese and a drastic change in his condition caused him to be taken to the hospital this weekend. Under the care of the hospital staff and the nurses of the Archdiocese they are identifying the underlying cause of this drastic change in Fr. Tom's health. May he be comforted by the prayers of the community he loves and Our Mother, Mary during this time.
Note about Singing at Mass from Jeannie Rogers 07.06.2020
Dear OLG Community,
I wanted to explain some of the changes you will notice regarding the music at liturgies as we respond to further guidelines from the Archbishop of Los Angeles.
If you have come to our Masses or seen the Masses on our website, you know that we have already taken measures by only having a cantor and no other instruments besides piano. We have been completely in compliance with what we have been asked to do.
However, in light of the recent surge in the infection rate of Co-Vid, the Archbishop has emphasized another element: Congregational Singing. All parishes have been asked to discourage the congregation from participating through song. Our staff discussed how to best do this while still providing rich and meaningful liturgies, and we have developed the following protocols:
- The songs normally sung for Mass (Entrance; Preparation/Offertory; Communion and Recessional) will be instrumental or solos.
- The Kyrie, Gloria, Psalm, and Alleluia will still be sung.
- The Eucharistic Acclamations (Holy, Memorial Acclamation, Amen and Lamb of God) will be recited.
With your continued support, patience and understanding, we WILL get through this! I am so grateful for each and every one of you.
Christ’s Peace,
Jeannie Rogers, Director of Music and Liturgy
