3rd Grade - Reading List
Reading over the summer is essential to
continue and reinforce skills that have been
taught all year. Thirty minutes of reading a
day is recommended. In the third grade your
child will be encouraged to read at least
one chapter book a month. In order to ease
into more advanced reading, I ask that you
begin reading chapter books with your child
this summer. The following is a list of
suggested books for your child to select
from and enjoy over the next few months.
