SOFT backpack (Backpacks with wheels are OK only if they are the size of a normal backpack and are made of cloth. Luggage backpacks are not appropriate.)

2 (100-page) composition books for writing assignments and notes—WIRELESS; WIDE lines WITHOUT PERFORATED MARGINS; the notebooks with a marble design on the cover are best. Two different colored covers preferred.

An empty 35 mm film canister or closable change purse (preferred) with your child’s name permanently marked.

Lunch box – NO ICE CHESTS: shelf not wide enough

24 #2 pencils, SHARPENED, PLEASE

12 #2 SHARPENED red pencils

3 Pee-chee folders (with pockets) one for homework, one for classwork, one for music

Box of colored pencils

Large solid glue stick

4 oz. bottle of washable Elmer’s glue

1 box of Baby Wipes

2 boxes of tissues

2 empty toilet paper rolls

2 empty paper towel rolls

Girls - A roll of paper towels

Boys – Extra box of tissue or box of pencils

Child’s name is necessary on backpacks, lunch boxes, all uniform items, folders, note pad, composition books, and film canisters/change purses. We share all the other items. Please, NO pencil sharpeners. You will be asked to cover four hardcover books. You may use brown paper, but the new cloth covers with elastic edges are acceptable, as long as they are the larger size. Also, child should be able to tie his/her own shoes.
