Confession
The Sacrament of Confession is also sometimes known as the Sacrament of Reconciliation, or the Sacrament of Penance.
Priests are available to minister the Sacrament of Penance in the confessional rooms of the church every Saturday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m.
The Sacrament of Penance is also celebrated on the first Friday of each month from 5:15 until 5:45 p.m.
Special additional hours for the Sacrament of Penance near Easter and Christmas
are announced in the church bulletin. These special times for Confession will
include a communal celebration of the Sacrament of Penance, in which a service
of prayer, Scripture readings, and communal reflection upon the mercy of God
precedes individual confession and absolution with the priests.
