Children's Communion
Two Sacramental Preparation for Older Children preparing for First Holy Communion (Gr. 4-9)
From September to May young people (gr. 4-9) who are preparing for First Holy Communion come to the 11:00 am Mass accompanied by family members. After the homily they are dismissed to study the Word of God and to prepare for the sacraments. Classes end at 12:20 pm. Parents are welcome.
Unbaptized Older Children are fully initiated at the Easter Vigil in the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). They receive the three sacraments of initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. Preparation and formation often requires three years and involves the participation of parents and godparents.
